MDF (Medium-density Fibreboard) is an engineered wood product that is made up of broken down hardwood and softwood residuals into wood fibres. Mixed with wax and resin it is formed into panels by applying high pressure and temperature. MDF is typically denser that plywood. MDF is commonly used for building materials.
